ISI Kolkata & Delhi School of Economics ( 12-13 )

IGIDR ( Around 11-12 lacs )

JNU ( SIS ) & Madras School of Economics ( 9-10)

Ashoka University ( Although it is started this year only , but seeing the level of faculty and program structure ,it is surely one of the best )( Expected 9-10)

JNU ( SSS ) ( 8-9 ).

Meghanad Desai Academy of Economics ( 6-7) ( one year course)

Others are Gokhale Institute Of Political Economy , Shiv Nadar & CDS ( Degree awarded by JNU ) ,

Apart of it they are other good university but lacks placement such as Jamia Milia , Ambedkar University , SAU , TERI , Calcutta University , University Of Hyderabad & Jadavpur University.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences ( MA in Development Studies )

International Institute of Population Studies ( MA in Population Studies)

IIT Guhuwati ( MA in Development Studies )

JNU ( MA in Development and Labor Studies )Other universities must not be considered for Master.
