Hello,
If your 10th marksheet does not have your father’s name, then you don’t need to enter it from there.
Here is what you should do:
Use your father’s name as it appears in other official documents like Aadhaar, birth certificate, or school records (class 11/12).
The rule simply means: do not change the spelling or format of names that are already printed in official documents .
If the father’s name is not printed in the 10th marksheet, it is not a problem . Many boards only print the mother’s name.
You can safely enter your father’s name as per your other valid documents.

No issue will come in your JEE form because of this.
Hope it helps !
You should write "Not Applicable" or a similar designation for your father's name in the JEE form, since it's not on your 10th marksheet. You can use an affidavit or other notarized document to explain the discrepancy at the time of verification or counseling to avoid any issues, especially if your other documents list your father's name. Here in this article you will find more about the JEE Main application.
I hope it will clear your query!!

Hey,
As per the JEE form instructions, you should put your mother's name in the father's name section on the JEE form, but with that, you should also prepare an affidavit during the time of document verification to explain the discrepancy. Ensure you provide all the correct details.
Hope it helps!!!
