Well there hasn't been any official written announcement on the matter but as per the news floating in air, NTA gonna conduct the entrances from 2019 and its CBSE who gonna conduct the exam in 2018.

Wait till the official notification is released.


By be sure that it's CBSE this year.

According to some news papers there will be a new body (NTS-National Testing Service) which in the process of formation for now which will be handed over the entire responsibility of conducting all common entrance exams like JEE,NEET, NET, CTET etc.

This is being done to release CBSE of the excess resposibility of conducting so many tests and focus on increasing the standard and quality of education. Once our Cabinet approves its inception, it will be forming NEETI (National Entrance Examination for Technical Institution) and start the process for engineering courses from January 2018.

This process is still pending and requires approval, but according to the ongoing activities seems like CBSE will shift over the responsibility to NTS from next year.

NTS will then become the largest test conducting body all over India.

According, to the news there are chances that NTA will conduct NEET twice a year from 2019.
