Both of them are well paying in present.

But where as if you join as junior merchant in navy than your starting salary will be 40,000-50,000 INR per month and if you join as a junior pilot or co-pilot then your starting salary will be around 1 lakh INR per month which is much more than the salary of merchant junior in navy.
