The B.Sc. course can be both 3 years and 4 years. In the 4-year duration program, you get the Honours program with the research option that provides deeper knowledge about this course. But in the 3-year duration you don't get these perks and facilities.

I can understand your concern, but traditionally B.Sc. courses were of 3 years and now under the NEP 2020 (National Education Policy), many universities have shifted to a 4-year undergraduate program. This one extra year allows students to do research and focus on learning.
