the main reason behind the reason of expensive fee structure lies in the nature of the course itself as engineering is not limited to classroom and theory, it requires costly labs, equipment, skilled faculty and large infrastructure. Government colleges charge less due to subsidies, while the private colleges are self financed, so students bear most of the expenses.

B.Tech fees are high because they spend on Labs, Technical equipment, modern infrastructure, skilled faculty and campus facilities. They also invest on placements and training. Private colleges are mainly depend on student's fees and the high demand for B.Tech Degree increases the fees.
