Dear Aspirant,
See JEE Advanced in considered to be a highly competitive national level exam. But it's subjective to say how difficult it is , this may vary form person to person. But one thing is for sure JEE Advanced is just not demands very well understanding of concepts for all subjects, but it also requires various other skills like time management, patience and persistence. Not all the questions asked in JEE Advanced are of high level difficulty, one needs to be familiar with language on subject and identify key statements.
Also patience is one thing that is much needed in JEE Advanced, if you are certain about a question then you should give time to it but you should know how much time you should devote to a particular question.
There's no point in giving 10-12 mins for a question which you are uncertain about.
Good Understanding of concepts & their applications is must as questions asked might be a combination of 6-7 different topics.
