Hii Shaaraq!

Java was initially known as Oak. But later it was renamed Java in 1995, after Java coffee, a coffee in Indonesia. The named was changed to Java after the Gosling came to know that Oak was used as a trademark by Oak Technology. Java 1.0 was shipped in 1996 then.
