Legal maxims are a thing to be mugged up. There are few tricks you can apply to make this little easy. There are at least 4-5 questions in CLAT which are related to Legal Maxims and therefore it is not important to know all the legal maxims for CLAT

• Identify words which are repeated many times. For eg lex loci - it means law of land. Lex is the latin word for law now every time lex is used , you know what it means.
• you can take a new notebook for noting down the  list of such words and maxims.
• you can also make a chart or poster and keep it on the place where you frequently visit
• Use different coloured inks to make it interesting and attractive to learn..
