Why the larynx in human body does vibrate while speaking or singing a song?

Hlw aspirant, thank you for contacting CAREERS 360,it happens because as we know that another function of larynx is to make sound.The muscles present in larynx take the vocal folds altogether and they block the air entering into the lungs.hence the muscle in larynx keeps the folds in place for vibration.
