There is a process which called diffusion and is occurs in such a way that the particles from high concentrated area moves to a less concentrated area and this is the reason which occurs in the case of perfumes that the particles concentrated to where it is applied start moving to the other areas which is of course the less concentrated areas and this process makes you to smell the perfume from a distance.
