If you just want to apply for JEE-Main 2022, then get your category certificate issued now and upload it. This criteria is only applicable for OBC-NCL and EWS certificates, thus if you only want to apply for JEE-Main 2022, then get your certificate issued now and upload it.

However, if you want to take JEE-Advance 2022 after passing JEE-Main 2022, don't apply for a new reservation certificate right now because, according to the JEE-Advance 2022 information brochure, the certificate must be issued on or after April 1st 2022, so if you get it now, you'll need a new one for JEE-Advance as well.

So, for now, you can submit a self undertaking in lieu of a category certificate in the JEE-Main application form, stating that you will provide the original and legitimate caste certificate later on at the time of admission. After April 1, 2022, you can apply for a new category certificate, and if you do not receive it before the time of the JEE-Advance examination, you can do the same thing on the JEE-Advance application form since there will be a self undertaking section, which you can use.

And if you are only aiming for JEE-Main then you can go ahead and get your new caste certificate issued now because JEE-Main 2022 application has started now and will continues till March 31st 2022 or you can upload self undertaking in lieu of caste certificate and then you can submit your new caste certificate at the time of admission.

Don't worry for JEE-Advance 2022 date would not be changed for certificate issuance, it will remain same as mentioned in the information brochure.
