Actually JEE Mains qualified students can apply through JoSAA for admission to various colleges. But this does not mean that all of the students will get the admission. There is cut-off varying across college, course and category. If you score beyond this you can have chances.

You are eligible to apply to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs with Mains. To gt into IITs you should have Advanced score.

If you wnat a seat in the government colleges like IIT's,NIT's,IIIT's and other colleges which are in the list of JOSAA then you eill get seat in them as per your rank and catagory.

Apart from this there are a number of colleges which reserve seats and which they fill by JEE Mains score.In fact almost evry college consider your mains marks/rank for seat allotment,they have fixed number if seats for this.
