If you were a PCMB student in school and now you want to pursue CSE it wouldn't be a problem at all. A lot of people join CSE course who are not familiar with a subject. The teachers start teaching from the level 1 so it wouldn't be a problem at all but you do need to be interested in the subject to understand it thoroughly.
