will I be allowed to appear for neet if i have mehendi on my hands?

Hi Aspirant!

There is no mention of whether or not a candidate can wear mehendi while appearing for NEET. However it is advisable to remove your mehendi especially near the tip of your fingers. So that There is no biometric verification problem arising before the examination. If your biometric verification fails then you will not be allowed to take the examination.

In case you have applied mehendi, you should remove it by using nail polish remover, soap and water. For more details please check the following site:

There is nothing such mentioned in the information brochure of neet exam regarding the mehendi. But for the reason of safety you should remove it before coming to exam . As problem may occur at the time of biometric verification. If it verification fails due to mehendi they wil not allow to seat for the exam . So for safety remove mehendi before exam .
