Additional subject is offered so that if one doesn't clear any of the main subject then the marks of additional subject is substituted for that subject. So I you think that you are good enough in other subjects then you don't need to clear the additional subject. U would personally suggest you to give the exam you don't need to score in it but for the safe side you should go for the exam.
