Yes, the kvpy examination usually has a cutoff mark and whoever able to pass the cutoff are eligible to get the scholarship.

For bsc courses they get a monthly fellowship of Rs 5000 and Rs 20,000 annual grant.

For msc courses candidates get Rs 7000 monthly grant and Rs 28000 annual contingency grant.

They also get other privileges and summer research internships.

upon clearing the KVPY aptitude test, the candidates will be called for an interview. Based on how the candidates performance in the interview a final list will be released. The candidates whose names are released on the final list will be eligible to avail for the KVPY scholarship.
