Hey! This system of marking out of 800 just started a year back and you people are second batch to be marked like that. I had a friend who scored 519 out of 800 and his rank was between 2500 and 3000. He got Computers and communication in the first round of counselling and got upgraded to Information Technology around the 3rd or 4th round of counselling.
This year the trends may be slightly different so the best thing you can do is to wait for the results!
