It's not about recent or old photo, AIIMS have only put this condition of pasting recent photo because they want to make sure that the candidate in the admit card photo is the same candidate who is going to give the exam at the day of examination. So, as long as you look the same in the photo and in reality today you can paste the photo.
Hey its always advisable to post a recent photo to avoid any problems. Better to be safe than sorry, right?
