Dear Aspirant,

the cutoff for each year differs due to various reasons. Some of the reasons are, availability of seats, the number of candidates appearing for the examination that particular year, the complexity of the question paper, the number of candidates appearing for the counselling session etc. These factors vary from year to year, hence it is usually difficult to predict the cutoff before hand. The cutoff for colleges and universities is generally released after the examination is held and the results are declared. However, in most cases the cutoff for each year is higher than the previous years as the level of competition increases each year.
