Yes, Junior Research Fellowship ( JRF) is available for Ms astrophysics. You can apply at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology.

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Ms in astronomy and astrophysics passed or qualified in the first degree.
• Qualified for a national entrance exam like UGC-CSIR NET in physical sciences or JEST in physical or GATE in physics.

JRF is a one-year program and will be promoted to senior research fellow (SRF) based on the performance of a candidate and the availability of an SRF position. JRF will be paid 30k plus HRA.
