Hi student,

**No, once you have alloted a seat in Round 1 and wish to Upgrade it in Round 2 of Counselling and if you got upgraded seat in Round 2 then your Round 1 seat will become virtual vacant seat and will be available for other students in further rounds.

**What you can do in case you don't want to join the College you got in Round 2, is that to not report or join the College and apply for futher rounds of Counselling like Mop-up round. But you need to opt for Exit with Forfeiture which means your Security Deposit amount will not be refunded to you.

**Only free exit option is available in Round 1 in most of the State Quota NEET UG Counsellings and All India Quota NEET UG Counselling. For Round 2 of Counselling Exit with Forfeiture option is available.

May this information was helpful to you.
