Hello,

National Testing Agency, NTA would be conduting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2019 [1] only once a year next year. The Human Resources Development Ministry today decided against its previous decision to conduct NEET 2019 twice a year in online mode under NTA. The decision came in after Health Ministry requested MHRD to reconsider the proposal. The examination would now be conducted in the same pattern as this year, in pen and paper mode on May 5, 2019 by NTA.

Health Ministry sent out recommendations to MHRD, asking it to reconsider the proposal. It pointed out the students staying in rural areas would not be comfortable to adapt to the change in the mode of conducting the examination. The Health Ministry also pointed out to the logistical concerns as well as counselling concerns over conducting the examination twice a year

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU !

ALL THE BEST !
