According to the new scheme of the JEE paper and examination evaluation; the average of both exams won't be considered. The marks of the marks in which you performed the best from two of the examinations will be considered.
That is if you performed better in the first phase of paper 2 rather than the second phase of paper 2(April examination if appeared) then the score of the first phase will be considered to generate rank.
