Firstly, only the test takers who appear for DU JAT 2019 will be eligible to attend the DU JAT 2019 procedure. Secondly, the Course/College preferences mentioned by the eligible canidate during online registration shall be processed centrally for all the rounds of counselling/allotment procedure in an automated manner. According to University of Delhi, the conducting body, the selection prodcedure of DU JAT 2019 is segmentalised into two parts, namely qualifying examination (Class XII Board) and DU JAT result 2019. The percentage scored in the qualifying examination will be utilised for preparing the rank which will be calculated as the simple average of the percentage scored in the qualifying examination in four subjects: English, Mathematics and any two other listed subjects. The final selection of students will be made on this basis only.

The result of DU-JAT will be declared by Delhi University in the first week of July 2019. The candidates who manage to clear the exam will be called for group discussion and personal interview. The shortlisted candidates will be then called for counselling process.

Some are saying that GD/PI has been scrapped off from DU-JAT. However, wait for an official notification to be released by April or May.
