As long as there's no statement given by the supreme court, the exam will continue to take place. Since nothing has changed till now, we expect that nothing will happen in the coming year. So yes, NEET entrance examination will take place in Tamil Nadu too.

Hi Sharmi

No one can tell you that absolutely. Because Tamil Nadu has already faced problems like this. NEET exam is mandatory for MBBS/BDS as per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act-1956 and the Dentists Act-1948 in Indian medical/dental colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e., AIIMS and JIPMER.

Political statements will vary from time to time but the Acts will be followed strictly. So without the change in those Acts, you can't expect like this. Entrance exams will ensure quality. So prepare well for the NEET.

All the best.
