Important thing is that wherever you were working should be a registered company and you should have a proper valid confirmation that you used to work there in this time period. Actually pay slips are used for verifying the time period in which you used to work work in a company.

But now as you are unpaid and assuming that your company is a RTO registered company so you need to get details about your profile and the time period you have worked on an official letter. Then only your work experience will be counted otherwise it's of no use.
