Hello,
With 18,000 rank in VITEEE , it is quite difficult to get CSE core under Category 1 fee in VIT Vellore or VIT Chennai. Usually, for Category 1 in CSE core, the rank should be much better, mostly below 5,000 for Vellore campus and around 8,000–10,000 for Chennai.
With your rank, you may get CSE in Category 2 or 3 at Chennai campus, but not in Category 1.
