Hello,

Eligibility Criteria for MBA in any stream for admission into MBA Finance program of the University of Calcutta is namely;

Bachelors Degree with minimum 50% marks in any discipline from any recognized university.

Valid Score in Common Aptitude Test (CAT) or Management Aptitude Test (MAT).

So, according to this, you are eligible for MBA finance, but make sure you appear in the entrance exams depending upon the acceptance of college.

And One year back in graduation, if cleared, is not an issue for admission in MBA finance.

Hello Shubhradeep,During placements, it depends on which companies are visiting your campus. It is based on the criteria set by various companies respectively based on their decision. Not only backlogs but some of them may allow you to say that your SSC and HSC percentages can also affect your placement. So, basically, each company has different criteria to filter out students. And academic filters are the only way to do that.
