Just let's say you would be waiting for phase 2 and you left this seat , then you have to be rest assured that in phase 2 your rank is much better than this atleast below 3-4k because seats of cse branch srm will be filled. There is no harm in waiting for phase 2. Its just that you are already getting cse at KTR main campus.

So, I would definitely suggest you to lock your seat and give the documents whatever they asked for for your verification and get yourself stress free after that. There is no sense in getting a upper branch in the cse branch itself. At the placements , your skills will play a vital role not your branch.
