Computer Science Engineering course can be taken up after 12th even if you do not have much background in computer in schooling.
Usually the syllabus at graduation level starts with basics of computer and related concepts.
You will need to put up extra hard work to catch up. But don't worry it won't be much difficult as usually first year syllabus of CS engineering is relatively easier and students have ample time to learn at their own pace.
You can refer to various online resources and learn computer basics even before your college starts. There are various youtube channels and websites you can refer to learn about it.

It is a good if you know basic computer programs , like MS Word , MS power point , MS Excel , apart from the basic things , it is not necessary that you must know coding in prior before taking admission in an engineering college for Bachelors program in CSE , As college will teach you about the basics of coding in college.

Also , if you are not confident enough , then try to learn some basic things about computers and try to have some basic knowledge of C and Java language before getting admission , if you have time.

Otherwise , it is not necessary that you know coding , if you want to do engineering from CSE , as a good college will surely teach you all this.
