Both Thapar University and PEC Chandigarh are outstanding colleges. So CSE in both if them is preferable. But some grounds they differ. Let me enlist them here:

• PEC is state government engineering colleges whereas Thapar is private University.
• Fee in Thapar University is much higher aa compared to PEC Chandigarh.
• The infrastructure of thapar University is way better than PEC but they do charge for that.
• The facilities of thapar University are well decorated than PEC Chandigarh.
• Placement of both is comparable. Almost same companies visit both institutions.
• Chandigarh City will give you more exposure than patiala.
