No other thought, PEC is better than Chandigarh University. Rather i am astonished why you have put CU with in comparison to PEC.

If you really want to see another option apart from PEC then put thapar University or Lovely Professional University into the comparison.

Rather, Lovely Professional University is much better than Chandigarh University. Please do not ruin your career by having such thoughts of comparison mentioned in the question.

Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. PEC ,Chandigarh is good for CSE. According to me any branch at PEC is better than CSE at Chandigarh University . Although both colleges are good at there end.

PEC is also proposed to become IIT soon.

Various parameters where PEC overules Chandigarh University are:

• LOCATION- It lies in the main city whereas Chandigarh University is in Kharar.
• Experienced and well-qualified faculty
• Really good placements
• Degree from PEC is more valuable than that from Chandigarh University (because of strong Alumni base)
• The Clubs and fests of PEC are really of a good level

Moreover for getting admissions to PEC ,Chandigarh you need a good rank in JEE.

Morever Chandigarh University is a private college and admissions to CSE branch in it are fairly easier in comparison to PEC.

Also NIRF 2020 ranking of PEC slipped to 26. Whereas that of Chandigarh University was 117(Engineering Domain).

Also fees of Chandigarh University is higher than that of PEC.Chandigarh University also offers various specialisations in Computer Science.

According to me if one gets a chance to get admissions to PEC Chandigarh, than one shouldn't surely leave that for Chandigarh University.

These two colleges are very good as per it's record. But in my opinion, PEC is better than Chandigarh University. Not only for b.tech this is better for any other b.tech courses too. There are some reasons too for this.

Reasons:

• Strong Alumini and it is also 100 years old college that's why it gives a valuable degree.
• Very good Placement.
• Well qualified faculty
• Top students get admitted there so the environment is too much good.
• Infrastructure is one a best.
