Hello Anjali,

For Open Category, there is no fee reimbursement on the basis of income. Fee reimbursement for OC in telangana is purely on the basis of merit. That is the rank obtained in the ECET.

Top 1000 ECET rankers – Full fee reimbursement

Below 10,000 rank in CET – Full fee reimbursement

Above 10,000 rank in CET – RS 35000 will be reimbursed, the rest to be paid by students.

SC and ST students – Full fee reimbursement, irrespective of their ranks.

Annual income limit for eligibility to fee reimbursement is;

RS 2 lakh -SCs, STs, OBCs and Minorities.

RS 1 lakh – EBC (Extremely Backward Class)

Hope this helps.
