The UPSOSB is an autonomous board registered under Government rules and running under the auspices of Open Schooling of Indian Government’s Education Department. It is also General body member of National Institute of Open Schooling NIOS Notification No.F.62-200/2019/NIOS/Fin./1021 dated 14 March 2019 issued by the National Institute of Open Schooling, an autonomous Institution under Department. of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of HRD, Govt of India, wherein the name of the UPSOS Board appears at S.No.29 of the reconstituted General Body of the NIOS.

So, since it is registered with Government of India, it is not fake.
