Subject - Regret for not being able to attend the meeting.

I am Vikas, a member of your club . I am writing this letter in regard to inform you that I may not be able to attend the meeting held today for a discussion on kindness to animals because of my certain personal reasons. I am having deep regret that as much as I want to be a part of the discussion, but sorry to say that I will have to miss it.

The reason of unavailability:-

Firstly, I have to go for a medical emergency in Gurgoan, as my aunt is admitted in the hospital for her cancer treatment.

Secondary, I also have my CAT exams this week at Mumbai, so I have to be there.

Added to this as my whole family will be going to stay for the help of aunt, so I can't stay alone at home.

I hope you will understand my situation and accept my absence.
