Hi aspirant,
At first it is all ok if you are not prepared and do not want to appear for the examination but it's recorded to atleast appear in the same so that you can be aware of difficulty level and type of questions asked. Now to be eligible for jee main or advanced examination the basic criteria is that the candidate must have completed intermediate with PCM as subjects generally with 75 percentage aggregate. In addition, he or she can only appear for JEE main in consecutive 3 and JEE advanced in consecutive 2 years starting from the year of intermediate examination.
So you can directly appear in JEE main and advanced 2023 without appearing this year.
Hope it helps!
Hello,
If you pass 10+2 in the year 2022 then you are eligible to appear for JEE Main 2022, JEE Main 2023 and JEE Main 2023 because a candidate can appear for JEE Main for three consecutive years from the year of passing in the qualifying examination that is 10+2 or its equivalent. And you can appear for JEE Advanced for two consecutive years from the year of passing in the qualifying examination so you can appear for JEE Advanced 2022 and JEE Advanced 2023 provided you must qualify in JEE Main 2022 and JEE Main 2023 respectively. This is applicable even if you do not appear for JEE Main 2022 and JEE Advanced 2022, you can appear for JEE Main 2023 and qualify in it to appear for JEE Advanced 2023. The admission in to IIST is based on JEE Advanced score. So you can JEE Main 2023 and qualify in it to appear for JEE Advanced 2023 in order to apply for admission in to IIST.

Hello,
Yes, you can get admission in IIST in the year 2023 if you have qualified in JEE Main 2023 and JEE Advanced 2023. The candidate need not necessarily qualify in first attempt to get admission in to IIST. The eligibility criteria to get admission in to IIST is that a candidate must have qualified in JEE Advanced and must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board. Last year due to Corona Pandemic IIST has relaxed the minimum percentage requirement in line with the decision taken by the Central Seat Allocation Board and the IITs, but this year the minimum percentage requirement might change which will be announced by IIST. A candidate can apply for JEE Main for three consecutive years from the year of passing in the qualifying examination. As you will pass in 10+2 in the year 2022 you will be eligible to appear for JEE Main 2022, JEE Main 2023 and JEE Main 2024. And a candidate is eligible to appear for JEE Advanced for two consecutive years from the year of passing the qualifying examination so by this you will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2022 and JEE Advanced 2023.
Hello,
Yes, you can give your JEE Mains and JEE Advanced directly in the year 2023 without appearing in JEE Mains and JEE Advanced 2022. After clearing JEE Mains and JEE Advanced you will get admissions in IIST. The candidate seeking IIST admission in the B.Tech program needs to appear for JEE Main and Advanced and obtain a valid rank. Based on the JEE exams, IIST will publish the rank list for the option of filling and preference of specializations for the applicants. The candidates will later need to appear for the counseling. Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (or) IIST Thiruvananthapuram was established in the year 2007 and is a government college. Please click the below link to know more about the college.
Hi
Both are similar branches. Avionics is basically a mixture of Computers and Electronics Engineering. You are taught the automation and programming part related to space technologies in avionics. In some core companies we could get opportunity to design control system and displays.
Due to modern digital fly-by-wire system every control is by electronic means than mechanical so there is a huge demand for ECE engineers.
Hello Smriti,
Whether you can get seat in IIST or not depends on your JEE score, so till then nothing can be said. So prepared well and concentrate completely on your preparation.
