Greetings,
NIT Patna is generally regarded as a decent college, as for its ECE branch, most current students rate it to be average in terms of
- Faculty (some good, some not so much)
- Infrastructure (good but lack of maintenance)
- Placements ( average package for ECE graduates in 2019 was around 2.5 lacs per annum, some good students manage to get 5-6 lacs per annum)
College Culture - Bear in mind there is a significant state quota at NIT Patna so you will see a lot of students from Bihar, and it being a low ranked NIT the faculty is also mostly from the state itself. With that said, there is still quite a bit of diversity amongst the student body and as far as conflicts are concerned there have been complains from students about regionalism but let me also mention that it is prevalent almost everywhere so it does not matter in the long run as long as you keep performing well and going about your business.
Good luck.

Hello potharajukalpana8,
Well, As per the stats of placements, the placement of NIT patna ECE ranged from 3.8-5.8 Lpa with around 70% students placed, and for NIT Warangal Chemical around 89% students were placed and highest package was 25lpa with an average of around 8lpa, So clearly as per the placements NIT Warangal is better, also in ranking, academics, and college life, But....
Ece is an evergreen branch with enormous no. of job opportunities....
So choose wisely...
Hope this helps, and feel free to ask any further query....
The hostel is very good. In the second year, you'll be shifted to a 12-story building in a double B.Ed system. The rooms are fresh and have a balcony view of the Ganga River. The food is also great. There are 6 lifts in that hostel, and the rules are not that strict. You have to be present in the hostel by 10 pm.
Facilities and services provided to students are above average here. Internet facilities, hostel, mess facilities, laundry, electricity and all are in good condition. Mess and hostels are hygienic and safe. There is also a huge gymnasium and sports ground for us.
While entering the main gate, you'll encounter with a ground on right hand side and main building in front. All respective department buildings are present in left and right side of main building. Overall infrastructure looks classic but space is very cozy as compared to other institutions.
