Good Luck

Dear aspirant,

For nit patna there is good facility of wifi. This facility is regularly checked and updated as per the requirement. The internet access is provided by BSNL (1 Gbps),PGCIL(100 Mbps),Railtel(10 Mbps). But still there are some areas in the hostel where the internet connectivity has some problem.

Dear student,

The cutoff of any college depends on the following factors :-

  • The difficulty of the examination.
  • The number of candidates appeared in the examination.
  • The number of seats of available in the particular institutes.
  • The previous years cutoff.

So, based on these factors the cutoff of any college is determined.

Now, last year in 2020, the last cutoff closing rank for nit patna for obc category, home state candidates, in 6th josaa round counseling, for cse was - 4959 ( for gender neutral ) and 10465 ( for female gender category ).

So, this year too, it can remain some what near the previous year cutoff closing ranks. For gender neutral the maximum cutoff closing rank for obc home state candidates for cse branch can be near about 5000.
And for female gender category, it can be near about 10500.

Hello Aspirant,

As we go through the latest cut-off of 2020 then it shows that the closing rank for NIT Patna was 4959 for CSE branch in NIT Patna under Home state quota for OBC-NCL category. Now to secure such rank you should have your JEE-Main 2021 score at least 170 marks out of 300 and percentile against this is expected to be in the range of 99.4569399985455 - 99.573193698637 .

Good Luck!!

NIT Patna is averagely good for.CSE as per the onlinr reviews available.

The highest salary offered is Rs. 39.1 LPA and the average salary is Rs. 7.7LPA. The lowest salary is Rs.6 LPA.

I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!

Greetings,

NIT Patna is generally regarded as a decent college, as for its ECE branch, most current students rate it to be average in terms of

- Faculty (some good, some not so much)

- Infrastructure (good but lack of maintenance)

- Placements ( average package for ECE graduates in 2019 was around 2.5 lacs per annum, some good students manage to get 5-6 lacs per annum)

College Culture - Bear in mind there is a significant state quota at NIT Patna so you will see a lot of students from Bihar, and it being a low ranked NIT the faculty is also mostly from the state itself. With that said, there is still quite a bit of diversity amongst the student body and as far as conflicts are concerned there have been complains from students about regionalism but let me also mention that it is prevalent almost everywhere so it does not matter in the long run as long as you keep performing well and going about your business.

Good luck.

Hello potharajukalpana8,

Well, As per the stats of placements, the placement of NIT patna ECE ranged from 3.8-5.8 Lpa with around 70% students placed, and for NIT Warangal Chemical around 89% students were placed and highest package was 25lpa with an average of around 8lpa, So clearly as per the placements NIT Warangal is better, also in ranking, academics, and college life, But....

Ece is an evergreen branch with enormous no. of job opportunities....

So choose wisely...

Hope this helps, and feel free to ask any further query....

Dear student,

First of all congratulations as you got a seat in nit patna. Now as you have paid the partial admission fees, then that means you have retained your seat.

Now, if you don't want to participate in csab special round counseling , then AS PER UPDATED JOSAA-2020 SCHEDULE, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO REPORT ONLINE DURING 16TH TO 21ST NOVEMBER 2020 AT ADMITTING INSTITUTE FOR COMPLETING ADMISSION FORMALITIES AS PER THE INSTRUCTIONS AVAILABLE ON THE WEBSITE OF THE ALLOTTED INSTITUTE .

Now, if you want to participate in csab special round counseling, then you can take part in csab counseling, and you don't need to pay attention on the above paragraph. And as you have paid the partial admission fees, then you have to only give Rs. 2000 as participation fees for csab.

Now, as you are participating in csab special round counseling, then attend both the rounds. If you got allotted any seat, then it's good. If you don't get alloted any seat, then still your josaa seat, i.e, nit patna will remain with you. And if you want to take admission, then you are required to report at the allotted Institute for admission during 25th to 30th November, 2020 as per the instructions available on the Allotted Institute website and complete all the admission formalities and pay the balance Institute Fee (as applicable).
If you don't, then your alloted seat may be cancelled and no refund will be admissible .

So, even if you don't get any new seat in csab special round counseling, then your josaa seat will remain with you.

[ NOTE - IN CSAB SPECIAL ROUND COUNSELING, DO NOT SELECT THE OPTION OF " SURRENDER AND PARTICIPATE IN SPECIAL ROUND 2". otherwise your josaa retained seat will also get cancelled/ surrendered ].
