IIIT Bhagalpur provides modern labs, high-speed internet, and a digital library. Classrooms are tech-enabled, and hostels are decent. Recreational facilities are limited but functional. The campus is modern looking.
The CSE curriculum focuses on AI, data science, and coding. Professors are experienced and supportive. Workshops, hackathons, and research projects prepare students for industry challenges and make them efficient.
Placements are excellent, with top IT companies recruiting. Students secure roles in software development, AI, and analytics. The placement cell actively aids in mock interviews and internships to make sure students are job ready.
Currently college is under construction. Right now only boys hostel is completed. But still some construction work is going inside the hostel. Triple sharing bedroom are only available. Mess facility is very poor.
Teacher's are reknowed and knowledgeable. Some teachers are not much interactive. Heptic Syllabus for all branches. Very less time for self development. Some of the labs have very low spec Pc. Which doesnt support as any software.
Placements are average with respect to others iiit or nits. Placements of previous batches were good but currently due to recession placements are not going very well. coding culture is not good in this college.
College is very costly in terms of the facilities provided. Total expenses will be around 15Lakhs for a 4 year b.tech. i will personally not recommend it.
Poor campus life. Campus is under construction. College is situated in a remote area far from main Bhagalpur city. People around campus aren't very helpful or interactive.
Our college was recently established in the year 2017 and as of now the facilities can be said as good. The classrooms and libraries are very neat and well furnished. The living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.
I am studying B.tech Computer Science Engineering 1st year. The quality of teaching is good. Yes we are updated with all the recent developments in our field. Yes, I think what I am studying makes me job ready.
Our college was established very recently in the year of 2017 being mentored by IIT Guwahati. Hence, the first batch of our college would pass out in the year 2021. Nothing can be told about the placements as of now.
It costs nearly 1,40,000 for us per semester. Yes, it's worth the money.
There are many things we have to enjoy here in the common activity centre like music, board games, gymnasium, sports and many extra curricular activities.
Hello Aspirant,
Selecting the top institute between IIIT Bhagalpur, IIIT Agartala, IIIT Dharwad, IIIT Kalyani, IIITV-ICD, IIIT Senapati, BIT Patna, and NIT Arunachal Pradesh for CSE is based on a variety of factors
Placement Trends:
BIT Patna and NIT Arunachal Pradesh do well in terms of placements through "service" sector companies, leaking out a small amount of placements.
IIITV-ICD (the newer campus of IIIT Vadodara) is evolving, but growing.
IIIT Agartala, IIIT Bhagalpur, and IIIT Senapati - being younger still, might have some sparse placement history at this point.

Conclusion:
Hi
hope you doing well
Your chances of getting admission into IIIT Bhagalpur in either the CSE or ECE branch with a JEE Main rank of 53,457 and OBC-NCL category, are moderate.
IIIT Bhagalpur is a relatively newer IIIT, so the cutoffs are generally lower compared to older IIITs, but CSE and ECE tend to have higher competition.
Being from Bihar, you have an advantage in the home state quota, which can lower the cutoff for you.
Your category also provides some relaxation in the cutoffs compared to the general category.
CSE : This is the most competitive branch. You might be on the borderline depending on how the cutoffs trend this year, but securing CSE could be tough.
ECE : You might have a better chance for ECE as its cutoffs are usually a bit lower than CSE.
I recommend participating in the JoSAA counseling process and keeping an eye on the opening and closing ranks of previous years for IIIT Bhagalpur

Hy,
Choosing between IIIT Bhagalpur and MMMUT Gorakhpur for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) involves evaluating several aspects such as placement opportunities, campus facilities, academic environment, and overall reputation. Here’s a comparison based on these factors:
If you prioritize modern infrastructure, high placement opportunities, and a strong emphasis on IT and research, IIIT Bhagalpur might be the better option. If you are looking for a well-established institution with a solid engineering curriculum and a supportive environment, MMMUT Gorakhpur is also a good choice.
