I havent studied anything in my 1st PUC. is there any chance that I can crack JEE

ruchika.chauhan Expert 19th Mar, 2019

Hello,

JEE Main April exam (paper 1) is to be conducted on April 8, 9, 10 and 12. It is not possible to complete the whole syllabus in just few days. I would suggest you to work smartly and focus on the topics which carry more weightage.

Solve previous year question papers and mock tests, it will help you to know about the difficulty level of the exam and type of questions asked in the exam.

You should enroll for the JEE Main Rank Booster to score get a good score in the exam and get admission in any decent engineering college-

Does CENGAGE AIPMT books of 2015 hold good for preparing to 2020 NEET?

Faizan Salim 31st Mar, 2019

Hii

There has been a change in pattern of the paper since 2016 also there are a lot of updates and changes in the NCERT. AIMPT became NEET. The number of questions in the paper reduced and there has been a lot of additions to the NCERT.
So refering a book of 2015 will be helpful but will lack the new topics which have been added later So it is suggested that if you are using te books of 2015 AIPMT please add the latest reference book editions to your preparation material so that your preparations are updated and you do not find any question out of syllabus in the paper and could do well in your examination.
To know the best books, here is the list -

  • Complete NEET Guide -physics, chemistry, biology from MTG Publications
  • Objective physics, by DC Pandey
  • Concepts of physics by HC Verma
  • Physical Chemistry by OP Tondon
  • ABC of chemistry class 11 & 12 by Modern
  • Chemistry guide by dinesh
  • Objective biology by dinesh
  • Biology vol1 & 2 by truemen

Along with these, remember to go through the NCERT properly.

Hope this helps
Thanks!

hello! I am a class 12 CBSE student and has recently completed my board exam 2019 . now i wants to prepare for jee main and to crack...

ruchika.chauhan Expert 19th Mar, 2019

Hello Avantika

It is practically not possible to complete the whole syllabus of JEE Main in just 10-12 days.  NCERTs are the best books to complete your fundamentals and if you are thorough with the concepts of NCERT, you should practice previous year question papers and mock tests.

Solving mock tests help a lot in preparation. It helps you to know about the difficulty level of the exam, type of questions asked in the exam, exam pattern and also help in boosting your speed.

Speed and Accuracy both are the key factors to secure a good rank in the exam.

You should focus on important topics which carry more weightage.

Enroll for the JEE Main Rank Booster for better preparation-

From academic year 2019-20, there will be 10% reservation quota for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) among General Category candidates in higher education engineering institutes (like IITs and NITs). Let's see how you can get EWS certificate for JEE Main and JEE Advanced 2019.

The benefit of reservation under EWS can be availed upon production of an "Income and Asset Certificate" issued by a Competent Authority (an officer not below the Tehsildar in the States/UTs).  For further details download this pdf (link in description)
