This year I will pass my 10th CBSE boards and i want to crack jee.Can u tell how should i preapare myself step by step. Should I join FITJEE

Kunal 14th Mar, 2019

Hi Arya!

Hope you are doing your studies well and preparations for 10th boards are in full swing. Wishing all the very best for your upcoming exams.

It is nice to see that you have decided the career path and chose engineering as your stream. Before one pursues engineering course, he/she goes through rigorous training of 2 years of JEE coachings and all. There are plenty of institutes offering training for cracking these exams easily.

As per my opinion, it depends solely on the person to decide whether he/she takes training from institute or not for cracking JEE. He/She should able to maintain a balance between school chores and JEE training schedule. JEE training provided by institutes becomes slightly hectic when one could not move with their pace. You have advanced training by teachers, weekly tests, monthly tests, wherein you must score well than other candidates. For that, you must follow a strategy that would give you an edge over others.

A step-by-step process would guarantee you the best results, creating a balance between both. Some of the possible steps that could be followed are:

  • Complete the day's chores on the same day. Piling up work would increase your burden.
  • Don't waste your time in unproductive things. Constructive study plan would guide you to success.
  • Prepare a timetable and try to your best to follow it. Many find it difficult to follow, but it is one of the best ways to manage time.
  • Firstly, go through the past year papers and analyze. Sketch out what are the probable questions the setter could ask and study wisely. Smart work > Hard work.
  • Score well in weekly, monthly tests in coaching institute.
  • Never pressurize yourselves. Take a break and go for a walk daily and get relieved.
  • The material provided by institute would give you a brief overview of the chapter and would be handy for formulas. But, most of the questions of JEE are asked from NCERT textbooks. Completely study the textbook and excel.

Wishing you good luck all the way for your future endeavours. Happy studying!

I got 45o marks in neetpg and sc category, can i try for aiims pg sincerey with 1yr preparation only??

Hrishikesh Das 28th Mar, 2019

AIIMS and NEET PG both are completely different. NEET is more factual, AIIMS more clinical and concept based. Hence, if you have a good grip on basics, you may get AIIMS. There are many who do not get good rank in NEET but score well in AIIMS.

I would highly recommend you to give AIIMS.

mam/sir i belong to a poor family but my family can not afford to pay high fees in the preparation of jee-mains for coaching of this

atulranjan2306 Student Expert 14th Mar, 2019
Hiii..
There is no need to join any coaching for preparing, online course is the best course.
There is nothing like (good) free online coaching in India as of now..

Btw Online coaching is a great idea! . We can save time and efforts of going coaching classes when the sun is exactly on top of your head.

So, I cannot suggest you free websites because (there are none) but can suggest you free apps.

Khan Academy : The app is free, absolutely free. Also have good content. They provide content for almost every competitive exam. You dont have to pay them. But if youre interested you can donate money to them.
askIITians: This app is also free, recently launched but contain good stuff. The app targets JEE, NEET and SAT only. Because they have focused on only few exams thats the reason why they are really good. The teachers are ex-IITians so you can get good exposure. And they didnt even ask for any donation too.
Hope you get it...

To crack neet and to get seat in TN medical college,is ncert book is enough to prepare??

ruchika.chauhan Expert 18th Mar, 2019

Hello

NCERTs are the best books to clear your fundamentals. However, considering the competition level of NEET exam, you should refer to other important books also for in depth knowledge and to score a good rank in the exam.

During the last few days for preparation, smart study will help you alot. Smart work is as important as the hard work to score a good rank and get a seat in any decent medical college.

You should cover the topics which carry more weightage. It has been analysed that out of 7060 concepts/definitions in physics, chemistry and biology in NEET, only 16% concepts/definitions were asked till 2017 paper and  73% paper of NEET UG 2018 was based on these 16% concepts/definitions.
You should work on these concepts only to score good marks in the exam. You should solve previous years question papers and mock tests. It will help you to know about the exam pattern and type of question asked in the exam.

Enroll for the NEET Rank Booster for your preparation-
