Is Aakash physics and chemistry books are good for preparation for neet 2019?

Hrishikesh Das 12th Mar, 2019

Yes they are good. But they are not only book you should follow.

Physics-Aakash modules contain limited number of questions in form of section A,B,C. PractiCe is the key to good marks, Hence you need to practice other MCQs books like DC Pandey, NCERT at fingertips etc. HC Verma is something on higher side which I personally would not recommend for NEET.

Chemistry-NCERT Boks For inorganic is best. Here too the more you practice the better you get specially physical. Organic Chemistry you may use notes from your teachers as Aakash books have limited knowledge on that topic. Practice organic and physical from books like Competitive exams books for medical and engineering by Arihant. NCERT at your fingertips is also a good choice.

How to prepare for the jee exam in apirl in 2019 with in 30 days with out coaching

ruchika.chauhan Expert 18th Mar, 2019

Hello

Syllabus of the exam is vast and it is practically not possible to complete the whole syllabus in detail within 30 days. However, working smartly can help you to score a good rank in the exam and get seat in any decent engineering college.

You should work on important concepts  which carry more weightage in the exam. You should solve previous years question papers and mock tests. It will help you to know about the exam pattern and type of question asked in the exam.

I am sleeping for 5 hours a day will it reduce my learning capacity or its ok to sleep for one year of preparation of neet AIIMS

Yogita Punjabi 12th Mar, 2019
Hello

It's good that you're sacrificing your sleep to achieve your goal. And this kind of determination is highly required to become successful.
Well, as per your query- I would tell you to sleep at least for 7 hrs. Sleep is equally important for body (relaxation) + the brain. The brain also gets tired and needs rest at certain intervals. And in that case if you're studying continuosly and giving load to yourself- then it's very obvious that at certain point you may go blank and may fail to recall the stuff that you've studied many times. And so far it'll affect your learning capacity too.
So concluding to it, don't take any kind of stress and study- rather enjoy your studies and perform well. This is the peak time and you need to revise + practice maximum.

Hope this helps.!
Good Luck.!!

For gate preperation online coaching or offline coaching is best? OR without coaching can I crack gate exam and score good marks?

Kunal 12th Mar, 2019

Hi Debajyoti!

As you are in engineering stream and continuing studies parallelly, it is expected that you perform well in both in your undergraduate course and GATE exam. The preparation of GATE exam needs to be made thoroughly as there is stiff competition among many candidates in the country. Every candidate is preparing day and night and toiling very hard to clear the exam.

Talking about the mode of learning for GATE exam, it depends on the method you would be convenient enough to grasp the concepts. Whether it is online or offline coaching, you must be benefitted by the same. You must not skip classes in either mode of teaching, as they may cost you a lot as compared to other candidates. There are both advantages and disadvantages of either mode of teaching of GATE exams.

Advantages of online mode of coaching:
-Flexible studying hours
-Online studying resources could be accessed through coaching class website
-Online doubt solving through chatrooms

Disadvantages of online mode of coaching:
-You might skip classes as there is no one to guide you in person
-Doubt solving sessions are not that effective alike offline coaching

If you opt for offline coaching too, you must be working based on a strict timetable that you follow such that you maintain a balance between your regular studies and coaching. You must not feel lethargic towards going to classes as it would hinder you mark-gaining strategy. In offline coaching, you can gain new friends and guidance by teachers could be sought on how to tackle the exam, which is not possible in online coaching. You could find a coaching class near your college/house so as to save some traveling time and cost. After all, time is precious and it might get costly if you are not using it in the right and efficient way.

Gaining good marks in GATE exams may pave the way for plenty of opportunities and gateway to higher studies in elite institutes, but you must parallelly concentrate on your UG/PG studies too.

Wishing you a great future ahead and happy studying!

Nandini Gupta 12th Mar, 2019

Hii Pankaj,

If you wnat to persue masters in Engineering, then definately you should prepare for GATE.

because if you will do M-Tech from IITs or NITs then it will be very helpful for your bright future.

also you can get a Government job by your GATE rank.

and many MNCs take employee on there GATE rank.

also your master degree will help you for VISA in your future.

But if you are from a computer science back ground then you should focus on getting a job.

because in IT industry no one will ask you for your degree.every one will see your work.

So it's up to you ,what you want.

hope you understand

thank you

For bio technology admission after 12th.. ..is neet preparation is needed?

Ronita Debnath 11th Mar, 2019

Hi Deepa,

As per my knowledge, NEET is an entrance exam for admission to MBBS ( medical) courses. NEET exam needs preparation in Physics Chemistry and most importantly Biology. But Bio- Technology is a kind of engineering subject which includes preparation in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. And Biotechnology has more of mathematics than Biology. Although the aptitude and logical reasoning part remains almost same. So if you want to study Biotechnology after 12th, you need not prepare for NEET. Even if you do so you have to prepare separately for Mathematics as well as go through the different question paper pattern for Biotechnology.

Hopefully this answers your query.
