What should be my diet plan(at breakfast, lunch and dinner) at this time of neet preparation? What should I avoid?

Yogita Punjabi 26th Feb, 2019
Hello Diya

Exam season is always a hectic season for everyone involved. And the good nutrition often slides down the priority list. The right food and drink can energise your system, improve your alertness and sustain you through the exam hours. Follow some simple tips below to help you eat your way to success.!

  • Don't skip meals- especially Breakfast- as it is a great start of your day. You can have fruits- banana, wholemeal bread toasted with a glass of milk. That'll keep you filled for around 1.5 hours atleast. After the gap, you can have a bowl of oatmeal.
  • For lunch, keep it light.! Have 2 chapatis, rice, Dal, salad.
  • You don't want to fall asleep during study sessions and so in order to avoid that situation, you should eat  in less quantity.
  • Eat at regular intervals- coz while you study rigorously for hours, you start feeling low on energy. But if you eat at regular intervals it'll help you keep going and eventually will help you quit the habit of eating improper foods.
  • You can have milkshake/ a glass of milk with light snack- or fruits in the evening hours. A protein shake can do well.
  • For dinner- again keep it light. Do not have heavy meal during the night as it may lead to indigestion sometimes.

Keep yourself hydrated all the time.! Target at least 1.5-2 L of water in a day. Take a glass of fluid (fruit juice, herbals, water) within easy reach while studying.

You should avoid junk food especially during exams.!!
Try to eat healthy homemade food.
Take proper 7 hours night sleep.
Do not stress yourself.. rather enjoy your studies- and study the way- this will help you study for long hours + you can prepare in a Best way possible.!

Hope this helps.!
Good Luck.!!

what is the best book to prepare for jee main.

pranathi kallakuri 26th Feb, 2019
Hii shailly

There are several books for preparing for jee mains. Many authors have written good books to crack this examination. Out of the best books I ll mention some here. But before you refer any book make sure you are thorough with the topics of your class XI and class XII. Because most of the questions that appear in the exam have the basic concepts of intermediate. Soo please learn them well. Refer all the NCERT books. They are very useful for your exam.

All the topics of a subject are not covered in the same book. You have to refer various books for different topics in the subject.

Mathematics:

1. Higher algebra by hall and knight
2. Coordinate geometry and trigonometry by SL loney
3. Differential and integral calculus by N Piskunov
4. Calculus and analytic Geometry by Thomas and Finney
5. Course in mathematics for IIT-JEE by tata Mc grawel publication.

If you want to refer a book of single author then I would suggest you to follow cengage for jee mains by teewani.

Please don't waste your time by reading unnecessary topics which have low weightage. Prepare the topics which are very important and contains more weightage.

Physics:

1. Concepts of physics by HC verma
2. Fundamentals of physics by Halliday, Resnick and walker
3. Problems in physics by SS Krotov

Please refer cengage for jee mains physics for single author book.

Chemistry:

1. Modern approach to chemical calculations by RC Mukherjee
2. Organic chemistry by Solomons and fryhle
3. Concise inorganic by JD lee
4. Physical chemistry by N Awasthi
5. Arihant publications by RK Gupta

Refer Arihant publications for single author book.

There is chance to crack neet in 1 year preparation with high rank

Dr.Debtanu Banerjee 26th Feb, 2019
See in medical science there is a probability of any and everything
if you have been preparing well since your class 11 and 12 then why not
you should either join some Elite institution like Aakash or Allen which will give you a booster course within this one year to help you with your neet based MCQ oriented preparation and physics, chemistry and biology or if you are more inclined towards self study then I would advise you some viable alternative in this regard which would include HC Verma in physics, op Agarwal in chemistry and Truman in biology
Do not miss out on the important chapters of wave optics, modern physics and thermodynamics as well as mechanics in physics, hydrocarbons and carbonyl compounds nomenclature and reaction mechanism in organic chemistry, chemical kinetics energetics and atomic structure in physical chemistry, metallurgy and ionic balancing in inorganic chemistry, animal physiology and plant physiology including gastrointestinal, novice and cardiovascular system as well as photosynthesis apart from animal kingdom classification, biomolecules, microbiology, biotechnology and genetics chapters in biology which are the heavily questioned portions of your syllabus
make a proper study plan dedicating to 3 years each of physics, chemistry and biology everyday starting it with either physics of biology and ending the day with chemistry taking 1 to 2 hour gaps in between the different subjects in order to relax your mind and attempt regular 50 MCQs and give time bound MCQ examinations train psl with the time management and question selection skills

How do i crack jee in only 25 days if i start from zero?

Sai Meghana 25th Feb, 2019

Hello Rushi Ghodke....

Always remember that jee mains requires 2 things-concept clearance and practise, now you dont have much time to practise as much as the students who are preparing from long time,so go for concept clearence, all you nedd to do is pik a subject that you feel you might be good at maths ,physics, chemistry where your natural knack is.Now here with you have two cases

Case2: take any book per subject that you feel comfortable with or has been prescribed and practise different types of questions ranging from easy to hard and each day keep 3-4 hours for mock tests for this you can join online series like bansal classes or arihant or any such and do one test each day or one previous year jee question  paper each day.

Case2:in this case its better to focus on the concept soloving part, for this you have to study more each day.when you complete a chapter look at the questions that were aksed previously from that chapter, remember this  almost every day you might feel like  you are going to get through, you crack jee very easly but it depends on how much effort you can put in.

prepare well,practise more...

All the best

Thank you

How to avoid tv series at this time of neet preparation time?

Dr.Debtanu Banerjee 26th Feb, 2019
one simple thing please council yourself that if you are able to clear and need to win at least give two to three months of free time when you can watch as many TV series as you want and do as much Amazon prime and Netflix as your heart's desire
antrostomy most parents will be glad to let you not only watch them but also maybe why you some new gadgets which will help you watch them in a new even improved manage if you are able to clear your need well so that should be your only 16 years and right now you are main dedication and concentration method be on your studies and the focus should not shipped to TV series which is a very bad addiction
self control is a virtual and if need be let your parents disconnect the cable operator connection so that you are not interested to watching them and your family members are doing the same

Is the ncert book is enough for the preparation of neet exam biology?

ruchika.chauhan Expert 18th Mar, 2019

Hello Shubha

NCERTs are the best books to clear your fundamentals. However, as the competition level is very high, you must refer to other important books also for preparation and to achieve a good rank in the exam.

If you have completed your syllabus, you should now focus on the revision part. Revising all the concepts is very important. NEET exam is scheduled to be conducted on 5th May, 2019 and you must focus on the topics which carry more weightage in the exam.

Solve previous year question papers and attempt mock tests, it will help you to analyse your preparation level and you will get to know about your weakness and strengths. Also, giving mock tests help in enhancing the speed.

You should enroll for the NEET Rank Booster for your preparation-
