UPSC examination is one of the toughest entrance examinations in the country. It takes years of preparation for some while only one year for others. It totally depends on the individual. As far as success ratio is concerned, it is eight lakhs of students competing for a few hundred seats. Moreover, its vast and diverse syllabus makes it more difficult. The seats for UPSC examination including all the posts like IAS, IPS, IFS, IT, group A and group B services etc is around 1200. So you need atleast one year of preparation to qualify for UPSC.

DU JAT exam is an entrance exam of Delhi University only for specific courses like bba, bbm, etc. but for most of the courses the admission is based on the percentage in best 4 scored in class 12th. Now it depends upon the course you want to pursue whether you need to give the entrance exam or your admission will be on merit basis.

Maths of Class 11th and 12th is important for preparing for IPMAT. Here is the list of all topics that you need to prepare as per the syllabus for IPMAT.
Number System, Percentage, Simple Interest and Compound Interest, Profit, Loss and Distance, AverageTime and Work, Ratio, Proportion and Variation, Time, Speed and Distance, Sequence and Series, Mensuration, Permutations and Combinations, Probability, Equations, Logarithm, Geometry, Coordinate Geometry, Matrices and Determinants.

if you want to score 40+ marks in JEE main then you should focus on the given chapters-
1)sets,Relation and function.
2)matrix and determinant.
3)sequence and series.
4)statistics and probability.
5)Trigonometry.
except these you will have to also practice some differentiation and integration questions because in JEE main questions asked are not belongs to single topics.one question may covers three or more chapters. and many of them conatains calulus.
also if you can then please go through the binomial theorem,permutation and combination.
and also i suggest you to cover some previous year Question paper.this will be very usefull for you.
