ruchika.chauhan Expert 12th Nov, 2018

Hello Harsh
It's great if you have decided  your aim to cack the NEET exam and get admission in any decent medical college. You are in class 8th so for now you can just focus on NCERT textbooks and develop strong hold on your basics. Clearing of fundamentals is very essential. It will help you in academics and also in future classes and entrance exams as well.
Read your textbooks and try to understand every topic. If you have any doubt never hesitate to take help from your teachers and parents.
Good Luck!

Should I go for gate preparation or ms in Australia .what is better for me I am a civileng student.and how much it cost for ms in Australia?

Shraya Singh 14th Nov, 2018

Hello,

You should go for GATE preparation if you want to pursue MTech in India or land a government job in a PSU. On the other hand, if you want to pursue a research-oriented career in civil engineering or want to be able to avail greater opportunities from the international job market then you should opt for a Masters in Science or MS abroad.

The top universities which offer MS programs in Civil and Structural Engineering in Australia along with the indicative (subject to change) annual tuition fee are:

  • The University of Sydney (AUD $35,000)
  • The University of Melbourne (AUD $41,344)
  • Monash University (AUD $38,850.00)
  • The University of Western Australia (AUD $39,800)
  • The University of Queensland (AUD $42,768)

Additionally, an MS in Australia is a good option if you want to change your area of expertise to something other than Civil engineering.

How to prepare for GDPI & WAT for cat exam?

Rohit Roy 9th Nov, 2018
Hi Aspirant,
Learn to create opinions on topics.Speaking is not something which you can develop overnight,it takes time and hard work to gain speaking skills. The biggest point is not going numb and also not speaking too off the charts.
Make reading a hobby.Reading on various topics, issues, abstract journals makes you develop a say,an opinion. Also, having sound knowledge of technical terms is very useful,as anything related to the subject or your interest in definite terms is much more worthy than in vague terms.
Understand this, mostly English is not the ultimate requirement. What matters is whether you can exchange ideas and convince them that you have good interpersonal skills.
Have an open mind, explore and achieve.
Hope this helps.

How to prepare for cat to get 100 percentile?

Rohit Roy 9th Nov, 2018
Hi Aspirant,
Practice,practice and more practice.
100 percentile means you have to stay at the top and definitely you need to master every single aspect of the exam to be there.
Gather the materials which can be useful and solve a lot of questions.Be very strict with yourself and have strong determination.Appear for frequent mocks and analyse your performance very nicely.See where you lack and work hard to remove your weak points.
Having a goal very high is important as it helps you to stay very close to the top layer.
The questions which come aren't very tough, you need to understand every bit of everything and have proper knowledge as to solve the questions in an easy way.
Hope this helps.

As I am bsc graduate with no work experience, how to prepare for pi for IIM

Souradeep Ghosh 19th Dec, 2018
It depends on what is your B.Sc degree is  about.
You must have studied for the degree for 3 years and have some knowledge about it.
If not so, go revise the syllabus for 3 years on your subject.
You have no other option.
And they will ask not much related to your curriculum.
And the PI is more about opening up and talking to them in a very casual and chilled out way.
You can't prepare for PI.
You just have to bring out your real character in the CAT PI.
So just don't be nervous and do your best.
Hope this helps.
Best of luck.
