Crack Exam
Hi Vijay,
3 months of self preparation is decent to attempt CAT if your energies are focussed in the right direction. Over the next 1-1.5 month, I would suggest you to follow the following strategy to make the score 90%ile+. You can easily target 95-98%ile also but with enough dedication.
Start with subscribing to mock test series of Career Launcher or T.I.M.E. They give you a set of module or topic based tests and also full length mock tests and sectional tests. Go with this plan:
1. Solve one mock test every alternate day. There are 20 tests. So it will take you 40 days. If you take the test one day, analyse it the next day.
2. The day you don't take a mock test take sectional tests and analyse your performance. Make a note of where you have made errors and make sure you don't repeat the errors again.
3. On the day when you take full length mock, take concept based tests too and analyse them. Daily put 1hr each for practing VA, LR-DI, QA apart from doing tests Focus your full energy on this for the next 2 months.
You should be able to get 90%ile+. However at 75-85%ile too you should be able to get calls from the following:
1. Great Lakes
2.IBS Hyderabad
3. TAPMI
4. IMT Ghaziabad and all other branches
5. IMI Delhi and its branches
6.Goa Institue of Management
7.KJ Somaiya
8.LIBA
9.IRMA
10.IFMR
11.BIM Trichy
12.XIME bangalore
(The above list isn't any ranking. It is random order)
There are many more colleges. You can search online. But target for 90%ile +
All the best !

Dear student.
Greetings.
You can't prepare well for JEE main examination if your base of 11th and 12th is weak. You must finish your NCERT textbooks first inorder to get good marks in JEE main examination. Even if you manage to complete the NCERT textbook, you surely will clear JEE main examination.
Thank you. All the best.
Hello Kavya,
The main thing is that you have to build your concentration level, then only you can stay focused on your goal. I would like to say that please limit the study time between 10 to 12 hours and please increase your concentration and speed of reading, understanding and solving the problems then you will not face any kind of difficulty.
For preparation of exam, the most important thing is your confidence after that you should know the whole syllabus and make your plan properly for learning new chapters, solving the numericals and revision. All three things should be the part of your preparation strategy in daily routine.
You should also try to solve the previous years question papers, this helps too much and you should also give the mock test to rectify yourself and build your confidence level. In this way, you can make it possible to score good marks in GATE exam.

Hello,
There are many things depend upon you, such as time of sleeping, time of entertaining, time for other works, in which time you want to study most etc. So, you should make your time table in your own way by keeping this in mind which mentioned above. I hope, this will help you.
Hello Pragya,
DI-LR is area where Practice make you winner else you're sure to loose it.
DI-LR Section every year its quite tough and getting difficult every year, I would suggest practice as many as questions because every set of questions are differeent and thereby are tricky.
Practise from Nishant Sinha book, TIME Book, CL Book buy them and practice di-lr sets.
Try purchasing mock test of TIME/CL it will cost you around 4-5k. But it will be really helpful as just going through qstn aint gonna help you. Practice it and analyse it which concepts are applied and how is decison making process.
Hope your doubts are cleared.
