I just passed 12th and got 119 marks in neet 2018. I dont want to drop so suggest if I can do bsc medical along with neet 2019 preparation?

Ssonall Sinha 9th Jun, 2018

hi komal

its quite good to have safe side ,when it comes for career ,since you have got 119 marks in NEET out of 720, it is definetely low marks if you want to complete your studies from a good government or private medical colleges .

bachelor in science is a good path, you can definetly choose it for your graduation and side by side you can also prepare for NEET xams, many people does that, just you have to focus on both ,however it would be not so much hectic, it just depends upon your routine planning, you can do B.Sc from a non attending college to get enough time for the preparation.

practice everyday for NEET

all the best dear

What I do for taking admission in akash institute for Neet preparation after 12th

Ankita Tibrewal 9th Jun, 2018
Direct Admission (DA):

1.Each course has a predefined specific percentage admission criterion. Broadly, for admission in any course a student should fulfill the required Percentage or Grades (aggregate marks) in either Science and Mathematics in Class VIII / IX / Class X Board / All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) / Physic, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) in Class XII Board / Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination.
For Example -2.Those students who have secured minimum
65% aggregate marks in PCB / PCM in Class XII or
70% aggregate marks in Science & Mathematics in Class X Board Exam can take direct admission (DA) in Short-Term Courses i.e. Crash Courses / Test Series Courses.3.Those students who have secured minimum
70% aggregate marks or B1+B1 grades in Science & Mathematics in Class IX / Class X Board Exam of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi / Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) or any other recognized Board can take direct admission in Two Year Integrated Course for Medical (NEET/AIIMS) or Engineering (JEE-Main/Advanced) as per their choice and
70% aggregate marks in Science & Mathematics in Class X / 70% aggregate marks in PCB / PCM in Class XII Board Exam can take direct admission in One Year Medical / Engineering Courses.
Admission-cum-Scholarship-Test(ACST):

1.If a student has not scored a minimum of 70% marks or B1+B1 grades in Class IX / Class X Board / AISSE in Science & Mathematics (aggregate) or those students who could not perform well in their board exams, for such students, we are providing an opportunity to appear for our 'Admission cum Scholarship Test' to showcase their potential for medicine or engineering as career. Those students who qualify this test are then given admission in the applied courses.2.The admission test also gives an opportunity to a student to outperform and get scholarship in turn. A student, who has qualified our direct admission criteria, can also appear for ACST in order to avail scholarship.3.If a student has taken direct admission and paid registration fee, admission fee & first installment of the tuition fee, then he/she cannot appear in ACST to avail any scholarship benefit.4.A student can appear in the ACST for a maximum of two chances for seeking admission in a particular course.5.The syllabus of the admission test is different for different courses and can be obtained from the information desk at the applying centre.6.For further details, please discuss with our Centre Counsellors.
Common Admission Process:
Admission in Regular Program can be availed until August, although one can get enrolled in Distance Learning Program / Digital Program throughout the year.

Vroom Wayne 11th Jun, 2018

Hello Jabin !

Well I read somewhere that after registering for NEET 2019 , NTA will make two groups , one group will appear in December and the other group will appear in May. Subsequently , NTA will release the results of both the phase. Combining both the results , our rank letter will be issued and counseling will start . So you don't know either you will appear in December or May . But , yes that is for sure that you will appear in any one of them !

Which Books should I buy to Prepare for JEE (MAINS & ADVANCED) AND CBSE 10th Board Exams

Jnanesh 8th Jun, 2018

There are many good books for JEE prep. However, your success in the JEE really depends on what you get out of them. So, don’t go chasing the books; select a few of them and do justice to whichever books you finally decide on. Besides, chasing books is a symptom of the ‘Board mindset’ which does not pay dividends in JEE. Please see Board vs JEE Preps for an explanation.

Next, usually, when writers mention books/resources for JEE, they suggest a whole bunch of them. This only causes confusion in the mind of an aspirant. Therefore, I’ll refrain from suggesting all the recommended books for JEE and mention only the bare minimum.

Besides, it is not possible to solve all or most of the recommended books available in the market; it only results in a waste of time which would be better utilized elsewhere. Hence, this is another reason why I’ll suggest only a few books which, if you imbibe well , are sufficient to clear JEE.

Next, the key to doing well in the JEE is to raise your skills to the appropriate levels. Therefore, a student has to begin with a resource at par with his levels and then go on to higher levels. Thus, the student needs to tackle the resources/books mentioned below in the given order. In any case, the following are some of the books useful for JEE prep.

Physics: Coaching class material, HC Verma/Resnick Halliday, Irodov

Chem: Coaching class material/NCERT, Himanshu Pandey for Organic Chem, Prabhat Kumar for Inorganic Chem and P. Bahadur for Physical Chem

Math: There is no standard book. You’ll have to use parts of certain chapters in multiple books. For instance, Loney is recommended for trigo, Berman for calculus, etc. I believe you should ask your coaching class teachers and solve the books recommended by them in addition to the coaching class material.

For more tips on how to prepare for JEE, I would suggest that you go through our blog, mentoring jee aspirants
