Can I crack clat in one and half months with lot of hard work and grab a sit in NLU jodhpur with some knowledge of each section and with
Hey.
CLAT has a lot of competition where people start preparing 1-2 years in advance. But it os not impossible to crack it in a few months. You'll be able to do it if you work smartly amd hard.
The Syllabus of CLAT includes a total of 5 sections. Here is the section wise syllabus of CLAT-
1. General Knowledge and Current Affairs- 50 questions for 50
2. Legal Aptitude- 50 questions for 50 marks
3. English- including Comprehension questions 40 for 40 marks
4. Logical Reasoning- 40 questions for 40 marks
5. Elementary Mathematics-20 question for 20 marks.
General Knowledge - The GK Section includes both Static GK as well as current affairs. For gstatic general knowledge you can refer to the Concised size Pearson or the Arihant’s guide. For current affairs, you will have to put the most effort as it would cover a large part of your score and there is a lot to do.
The Hindu is the newspaper preferred by various CLAT Aspirants which you can read fot the last 2 months. It not only builds a strong base for General knowledge but will also help you in your verbal ability section. There is a site called GK today.in which you can go to for current affairs. They have daily quizes based on current affairs which has been proved very usefull for CLAT preparation.
English - You will come across various words while reading the newspaper too, prepare a list, go through them regularly and try to use them in sentences. You should read the Editorial section of the Hindu for your Reading section as well as Vocabulary section of CLAT. For the reading section practicing your sample questions while timing it would prove usefull.
Mathematics - The weightage of the maths section is very less in CLAT. Also the syllabus included elementary level of Mathematics. Hence, material of CLAT possible will be sufficient .
Logical Reasoning and legal aptitude- practice these questions from your CLAT possible material only. And also use the previous year question papers and sample papers too while timing it. Similar questions are repeated each year.
Make sure that you go through the past year question papers and practice them along with sample papers. This will help you to have an idea about how to attempt the paper, the level of questions for each section, and how to manage your time well.
Best of luck!

It is always better to read newspaper for CURRENT G.K. than trying to grasp all info at once. Some of the newspaper sources which you can use to prepare this section are The Hindu, Financial Express, and The Economist.
In case, you dont like reading newspaper daily, you can go with Manorama Yearbook or Current Affairs Yearly by Arihant for General Knowledge which is published every year.
In order to prepare for STATIC G.K. section, you need to broaden your overall scope in following sections: Sports, Politics, Entertainment, Biographies, etc. So, for this, you can use Static General Knowledge by A.P. Bhardwaj and S. Chands Advanced Objective General Knowledge. These books are okay to start with if you are not someone with a newspaper reading habit from the past.
There are plenty of other books for these topics in the market, but these are by far the most popular as well as helpful books for anyone preparing for entrance exams.

Im in 1st year of graduation how can I prepare for IIFT exams
Hey anjali,
you have a lot of time for the logical reasoning and aptitude syllabus of the exam. It can be completed within 6 to 8 months. But you should start focusing on the GK part and start preparing for it as soon as possible. The more time you give to GK and current affairs the more chances you will have of clearing the exam. Also start preparing for the rest of the syllabus in the 2nd or 3rd year of college.
All the best!!
