Which coaching should i join for neet/aiims preparation im a 2nd yr dropper i jad joined aakash in 1st yr drop.suggest good institute in lko

Ishita Chauhan 22nd Jun, 2019

Dear, aspirant you have been taking one of the best coachings for the particular competition that is aakash.Every city has plenty of Coaching centres especially for neet and jee preps .

Since you are a second year dropper you would be having quite a lot idea about the exam and you know everything you just need coaching for revision purpose right so I would say that either you again join aakash or any institute that is good enough in your city cause self study is what matters in the end .

All the best!

Which books to refer for CAT preparation?

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 22nd Jun, 2019

For Quantitative aptitude you can refer to Sarvesh Verma or Arun Sharma. Both are very good. For English try to read one article everyday from either The Hindu or Arts and letters daily. And for DI/LR section follow the previous year papers. Apart from that try to get test series because only studying from books is not going to help.

All the very best

Is it worth to drop one year for the preparation of JEE Main or to do btech in mech. From Northern India engineering college Delhi

Ayush Agarwal 3rd Aug, 2019

Hi,

It is upon you, if you think that you can study for one more year the same study material then surely give it a shot, but if you think that you will not be able to stody the same syllabus again then taking admission in any college which you get will be the wiser choice.

I hope I was able to clear your query

Thank You

How can I make a strategy of clat with 11-12 th course plz help me?? How many times I should devote in clat preparation and 11-12 preparatio

shruti bansal 21st Jun, 2019

HELLO LALITA,

It is important to learn some preparation tips and strategies that have always proven to help. These strategies are highly recommended to students undergoing full-time preparation courses. If you correctly apply these tips and strategies together, you are bound to make it all the way!

CLAT preparation Tip 1 – Understand the syllabus distribution

This is the single most important tip and yet the most common mistake that students make. Students tend to spend disproportionate amounts of time on Mathematics and Logical Reasoning. Therefore, by solving tougher and tougher problems from a wide range of topics, you ignore the other sections. However, as you can clearly see from the table above, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning together constitute only 60 marks. The more important sections are those of Legal Aptitude and GK/Current Affairs. Those two put together are 50% of the paper or 100 marks

CLAT preparation Tip 2 – Focus on Legal Aptitude

Students often struggle with this section because of two major reasons. One is that it is unrelated to what is taught in schools. And second, being the potential area to cover is very vast. However, in reality, you can benefit by knowing what the exam focuses on. The past 8 years of CLAT papers and questions typically tend to come from just 4 major areas: Criminal Law, Law of Tort, Contract Act and Indian Constitution

CLAT preparation Tip 3 – GK/Current Affairs Syllabus

There is no source from which you can study this section that will guarantee you great marks in this section. Even the best-prepared student would be confident of only 80-85% of the GK questions asked in CLAT exam. A best-prepared student is one who has been constantly reading the newspapers for over 5 years. He/she would have thorough/basic knowledge of all that has happened in the world for the last decade. However, over the years some patterns have emerged – areas that are known to be favourites among examiners and from where questions will definitely be asked.

CLAT preparation Tip 4 – Writing Mock Tests

You should definitely plan to write many mock tests. However, aim to finish at least 70% to 80% of the syllabus before starting the mocks. That’s the only way that you will receive any benefit from writing the test. Look for a good online mock test series, and aim to write at least 6-8 mock papers before the actual exam. Follow the exam conditions as much as possible. Consider the actual exam time limit as well.

CLAT preparation Tip 6 – Do not neglect English

Being strong in Reading Comprehension and basic grammar will take you a long way in the English section. Many students tend to ignore the section because they find it rather simple. This section is deceptively difficult and it is important that you are well-versed with the English language rules.

Good luck!

How I prepare for nda to qualify the examination?

shruti jha Student Expert 21st Jun, 2019

Hi Rituraj,

To prepare for NDA exam first of all you have to go through the exam patterns & syllabus for getting a knowledge about the exam properly.

So, the pattern was simple, the nda exam consists of two phases 1st- written phase &

2nd- ssb interview phase.

# for written phase, there is a single paper divided into 2 sections as:-

•Section1- Mathematics( total of 120 questions&total of 300 marks)

each correct answer is given 2.5 marks, while there is deduction of 0.83 marks for every wrong answer.

•Section2- General ability( total of 150 questions&total of 600 marks)

there is 4 mark given for every correct answer, while there is deduction of 1.33 marks for every incorrect answer.

■ Syllabus for the exam:-

#for maths- arithmetic; mensuration; algebra; geometry; statistics; probability; etc.

#for general ability- current affairs; history; general science; physics; chemistry; english reading ability; comprehensive; grammar; etc.

So, total written paper is of 900 marks & interview is of 900 marks= 1800 marks.

#books for help that you can considered are:-

1.RS Agarwal for maths

2.Suchchinda nand jha & expert competitions  for english

3.Disha experts & pratiyogita darpan for g.k.

4.NCERT books from 6th to 12th for each subjects;etc

These are some basic books that i will prefer but there are more writters for which you can go through.

Thus, by following these steps i think you can get alot of help & prepare wisely.

I will also suggest you to go for some online test series as well.

Good luck.

It is good to take admission in Nagpur allen as I m repeater so it is likely to take risk for me as I am not aware about faculties?

adyasamohanty611_9299468 Student Expert 22nd Jun, 2019

Hi Aspirant

Since you are taking a year drop the most important thing for you is revisit the concepts that you were weak at in the first attempt.

Moreover another important thing is to practice a lot by taking many mock tests since they help you evaluate the mistakes that you make under pressure during an examination.

As long as you kept the necessary material for this and teachers who can help you clear your doubts it is alright to join any coaching institute.

Hope this helps. All the Best.

I am a dropper and preparing for jee but still the fear of striking out gets in my way i m really tensed

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 21st Jun, 2019

Hello,

It's fine to having those feeling. You can use those to move yourself more and prepare for more questions every day. Use your fear as your strength. I know it's easy to say and most difficult to do. But you have to do. You have almost a year again. So try to solve as many questions you can and check every week end where you stand by appearing mock test n all. Try to solve questions from every book you can.

Doing according to timetable is fine but those will only work when you have to just pass the exam. You have to give atleast your daily 18 hours to your 3 major subjects and take rest of 6 years complete. Without rest your mind won't work and there will be time it will stop doing anything.

So just be patient and solve questions and check yourself and improve your weak chapters. Don't use anything which diverts you.

Improve your position and your skills to solve question more accurately and fast.

Hope it helps!
